I love photography; I have since I can remember. I've come quite a long way since the days of begging my mom to take me to the local drug store to develop all the "perfect shots" I was sure I had captured through my disposable camera. That spark slowly evolved into my first real love affair: me, a darkroom, and my Canon AE-1 in a film class my freshman year of college. These days I'm shooting with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and developing with Lightroom, and since I'm of the millenial generation you'll also find me snapping away with my iPhone.

 

I would classify myself as an avid amateur photographer. I have taken photography courses at The George Washington University, Austin Community College, and the Shaw Academy. I've had the opportunity to photograph several official military events, take photos for a local business' website and had work featured in a couple of local newspapers and official group Facebook pages.
